Explorers Compete for Best Virtual Spa Story

The Explorers are keeping their skills as journalists fresh as they write about virtual experiences. In one recent Zoom workshop, students learned the importance of healthy skin and how to maintain it. Guest presenter and Mary Kay Consultant Dr. Justine Franklin, provided items to Explorers in advance for a Spa Day they could experience together.

Explorers Win Best in Newspaper Award!

The Explorers competed for the first time in the Michigan History Day State Finals. They are the first non-school organization to compete and make it to the State finals! Their entry, “Exploring Merze Tate: Breaking Barriers Around the World,” won for Best Use of Newspapers special award at the State competition held live on YouTube
